The Role of the Sustainable Marketing Intern
Upcycled by FE is a social project which aims to clean water bodies through river clean ups, and creating products from landfilled bound waste.
Our goal is to assist communities towards sustainable living (PPR Lembah Subang as an example), and collaboration with local governmental bodies to develop projects which tackle the problems of plastic waste.
In 2026, Upcycled by FE’s agenda is to develop a circular economy warehouse where we upcycled, plastics, woods and in future other materials. Our dream is an educational upcycling experience for school students, corporates and even tourists, this is new and thus requires attention towards sales and marketing.
As such, we are looking for interns which have an interest in creative media and to lead our social media with the goal of developing communities towards environmental stewardship within the Kayu Ara River.
Being part of Fuze Ecoteer, you will also be part of our freelancer group, facilitating groups to Marine & Terrestrial projects across Peninsular Malaysia
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing
■ Write articles about our projects to be posted on various online and offline media.
■ Develop nice photos and videos to help market our products.
■ Manage the social media under the direction of the Events marketing manager.
■ Develop Point of Sales info to be used during events and to help promote sales for third parties.
Requirements
> Able to communicate & write well in English
> Enjoy photography and videography.
> Working remotely independently & being able to meet up weekly in person in a 20 hour work week.
> Getting your hands dirty during clean ups.
