Precious Plastic Recycling
The Precious Plastic movement started in the Netherlands where David Hakkens designed a simple plastic recycling machine that can be reproduced easily and cheaply using the blue prints he made open source.
The machine in the Perhentian Islands was sponsored by American Express Malaysia through their CSR corporate volunteering programme. Fuze Ecoteer through their conservation projects in the Perhentian Islands now use the machine as an educational tool for the local community.
Additionally Fuze Ecoteer use the machine to generate awesome merchandise such as the Precious Plastic Turtle Necklace and the Precious Plastic Shark necklace.
If you would like for your students or company to learn more about these machines please visit our precious plastic workshop pages for school trips and company trips.
